Round 1: Ch 3 to count as the first dc; work 15 more dc in the ring; join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. (16 dc)

Round 2: Ch 1, sc in the same st as joining, ch 5, sk 2 dc, sc in the next dc, turn, sc in each of the 5 chs, turn, sc in the 2nd skipped dc, *ch 5, sk next unworked dc, sc in the next dc, turn, sc in each of the 5 chs, turn, sc (behind cable) in the last skipped dc* Repeat from * to * 5 times; ch 5, sc (in front of the first cable) in the first skipped dc of the round, turn, sc in each of the 5 chs, turn, join with a sl st to the first sc. Crochet Squares for Fast Afghans

If you are thinking of making an afghan, the sheer size can be daunting, but crochet offers several different options for breaking it down into pieces. One of my favorites are the 12 inch blocks. They are like granny squares  in that they usually start from a center point and work outward, but the finished designs are very different. Small and interesting, they are great traveling projects, and a great way to make an heirloom, one block at a time!

Sabah snake grass/Clinacanthus

Clinacanthus nutans Lindau is a plant that has a synonym: Clinacanthus burmani.Nees. And included in the familia: Achantaceae.

Shrubs, 2.5 meters high. Woody stems, upright, and green. Single leaf, opposite, 8-12 mm long, 4-6 mm wide. Compound interest, the crown of the tube-shaped flowers, 2-3 cm long, pink. Fruit box, round brown.

To store nutans leave:
If there is any water on the surface of leave, dry it with kitchen paper towel, then wrap it in aluminium foil and store in refrigerator.

To apply to wound:
Cut the leave into small pieces and apply directly to wound WITHOUT adding any water or liquid. Cover the wound and nutans with bandages. Change everyday until heal. Remember: expose NO liquid to wound or nutans leaves that is applied to wound.

To drink or consume:
Wash the leave (10 to 100 pieces of leave, depending on seriousness of illness), clean an apple and add 1/4 cup of drinking water and some ice, blend it all together. Drink the blend. Twice a day for 14 days or more if needed. See how to blend leaves with apple.

Don't mix:
Don't mix nutans with duck meat, butter, yam and fried food.



优盾草的保存方法 
优盾草存放在雪柜之前不可洗，才不容易烂。先用厨房纸巾包好，再裝入箔片袋内，可以存放几天。


优盾草的饮用方法 
要搅汁时才清洗，优盾草加一个苹果和冷开水1/4杯、冰块几粒一起搅，搅好后连榨喝，最好在十分钟內喝完，其活性元素才不会流失，才可保留完整的药效，这是非常重要的一点！一般上是用青苹果和优盾草一起搅，如果胃不好就用红苹果。苹果要去皮，担心有浓药; 搅拌苹果时不必去核去籽, 因为苹果的核和种子里含有植物生化素，可以帮助开启人体的免疫和自愈系统以自行修复人体功能。不过，苹果籽有小毒，所以切记不可大量食用。


如果水份放太多，泡沫就越多，比较难喝。优盾草搅得越细，吸收就越好。加冰块是为了避免搅伴时，优盾草发热而变质。


优盾草採下来马上食用效果最好，採下后十小时之内是算新鲜，放在雪柜越久药效递减。体质寒凉者可加入几片生姜。


癌..症病患者优盾草叶子的用量
第一期: 每天50叶(10克)
第二期: 每天100叶(20克)
第三期: 每天150叶(30克)(如果是150叶,可分两次食用，早上和下午)
第四期: 每天300叶(60克)(如果是300叶,可分几次食用)*
*对于病情比较严重的末期癌症病患，在紧急情况下可用500片(100克)优盾草，不加苹果直接加冰水与冰块榨汁，过滤后弃渣只取汁, 放入冰箱內冷藏或保存于保冷瓶內, 在一天内慢慢喝完。如此方法连续服用三至四天即可看到效果。
药量会直接影响疗效，要服用(按照以上)足夠的叶子才会有疗效。
病况好转，可逐渐减少。


优盾草要吃多久才会见效?
至少连续吃上两个星期。


服用优盾草时的禁忌 
服用优盾草，切记不可同时服用补品，中药，打针鸡、鸭，牛油，芋头、糯米、刺壳蟹、甘望鱼、魔鬼鱼、油炸食品、榴莲。山芭走路鸡可以吃。


接受化疗时可以服用优盾草吗?
化疗期前后，可照常服用优盾草。


优盾草和中药可以每隔一天交替吃吗？ 
这样的方式吃没有效果。建议在吃完中药疗程后隔至少一天后再服用优盾草；吃优盾草后〔至少连续吃上两个星期〕同样隔至少一天后再开始服用中药。
